New happenings at All The Creatives!
A few short notes to let you know what's been going on with me, still taking photos and have started a new photo page on Facebook which you can find here...
https://www.facebook.com/pages/All-The-Creatives/311971668952364
If you are interested in purchasing any of my photos, feel free to message me through my Facebook page.
Also, I am hard at work writing another novel for Kindle. It's actually a book I wrote in 2010 and into 2011. I recently found the file and have been picking away at it to make it palatable to the Kindle platform. No timeline on that one yet. It's another period saga, but this time it's set in 1890. It's a bit different than 'For All Time' is yet there are some similarities as well. The most overriding theme is again the 'Family of Choice'. At any rate, I can't wait to unleash it on the world.
Other than that, the photography slowed for the heat of the summer but is going to pick back up again with the event of cooler weather and more outdoor events taking place.
Thanks to everyone who has stopped by and continues to, despite the fact I've been remiss at working on my three blogs!

The Art of The Car Show
Been working a lot of local car events lately with the nice weather underway. Did a Corvette show last weekend and another All Makes and Models show today. I'm going to share the best of the photos from today because in my view, there are a lot of works of art on four tires.
Thanks for checking out my blog! Soon to come, more photos!

The Art of the Sunset
Florida is known for a lot of things including great cloud formations and wonderful sunsets. Part of my ongoing photo shoots have begun to include such delights. Enjoy!
Thanks as always for stopping by and checking out my blog!
Recent Photo Shoots
I have been busy the past few weekends, doing a lot of photo shoots. I've also been logging a lot of time at various car shows, visiting parks and shooting photos in various other locales. The weather has been great lately and it seems that I am not running out of things to shoot. I'm just going to put up some of the highlights of the latest things I've been working on.
The above photo was taken at a Corvette show that took place on Sat 5/10/14 at a local eaterie. There were some real beauties there, not just Vettes but Camaros and other things as well.
There are many more photos from this same car show too, but this shows the general idea.
Thanks for checking out my site! Come back often and if you would like to purchase any of my work, please feel free to reach out to me at ksal1686@gmail.com.

New Card Designs
Just a short-but-sweet blog post to introduce my latest designs which were created as a special order for a friend's small animal rescue group. The above drawing is my first go at drawing a rabbit. I don't think it came out too badly, at least you can tell what sort of animal it is. At least that's progress.
The above bunny is the second one of the new designs.
The above lizards are part of that group as well, as my friend also works with them too.
These are available for purchase as 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 blank notecards. You can find these and more on the AllTheCreatives.etsy.com location as well.
Thank you kindly for stopping by and for your support!

Many new photos to share!
(Franklin, the Great Horned Owl)
Within the past few months, I have spent a lot of time on photo shoots throughout the local Bay area. (This would be the Tampa Bay area of Florida). Living here means great opportunities for photo events with everything from quaint cities such as Gulfport and Tarpon Springs to more natural settings such as Ft. DeSoto Park and Honeymoon Island. It also helps to hang out with some of the the most talented photographers I know. Spending time with them has made me become a much better photographer myself. I'm leaning what makes a great shot and what doesn't but mostly, I am having a blast doing this!
So having said all that, I'm now going to share some of my photos with all of you.
The above was taken yesterday at a park whose name escapes me for the moment. I love old dried out trees as they make for interesting subjects.
Most of my photographer friends take nature photos of birds, sea life and the like. My bird photos tend to not be as detailed as theirs but that all changed yesterday when I was able to get pretty close to this female mallard. Normally, the mallards tend to be skittish and will either fly away or head into the water. This one was just chilling out and didn't even twitch when I got next to her. Mallards are one of my favorite birds to begin with so getting this shot was a real treat.
I was also able to snap this sweet old boy later in the day. We had stopped at Suncoast Sea Bird Sanctuary and the pelicans were all over the place.
The majority of my photos tend to run towards this sort. I love the peaceful easy feeling I get when I see photos like this.
I love living in Florida, where things stay green for most of the year.
The above photo was taken at the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo, FL. The park has chairs like these set up in places normally where there is a pond or pool. They invite people to just sit down, take a load off and just relax.
Some of the man-made reflecting pools at Florida Botanical Gardens.
I have many more photos but these were some of the best of yesterday.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
