New Handmade Cards for Christmas

(Handmade Cat Xmas Card)

I've been busy working on new Christmas card designs and wanted to share them with all of you.

I can't leave the dogs out so here's some cards featuring our fine four-legged friends

These were really fun to create and work on. They actually don't take that long to do. I have precut dog and cat stencils and that's where the dog and cat shapes came from. The bones and mice are on the same stencil template. The calligraphy is mine. The sayings are both from the internet and my own ideas. The pens I used were Papermate Flair pens as well as assorted black markers. I don't use Sharpies, mainly because they tend to bleed through the cardstock. I found this cardstock at Tuesday Morning in their card area. But you can also find it at Michael's, JoAnn and most likely online as well.

The Art of Gulfport, FL

Today I decided to wheel my way down to Gulfport and take advantage of a free day. Weather was gorgeous and a fine breeze was blowing! The area wasn't that crowded which meant excellent photo opportunities at every turn.

Below are some of the great shots I got today-

New blog dedicated to creative endeavors!

I decided that it was high time to have a blog to focus on the art end of things thusly 'All The Creatives' was born. I don't just do cards though. I take photos, draw and create my own jewelry. I will be sharing all of that with all of you here.

If there's enough interest, I'm going to begin to sell some of these items via the web as well. I've mostly worked at local art events and such but am open to starting a web presence as well.

I adore quotes from all sources and really enjoying conceptualizing a card around a particular quote. None of this art is done via Photo Shop or any of the art software out there. I'm old school as it's my hand writing the calligraphy and using the stencils as well as doodles.

I love any quote that has to do with the moon and stars. If you've seen any of my photos, you know that I love the sky in all its forms.

(Faint Rainbow within clouds)

Living in Florida, I see some of the most amazing sunsets and clouds.

(Feathers of the Sky)

Below is an example of the unusual cloud formations as the sun sets

And then there are things like this, see below

(Morning Sky)

I'm guilty of looking up when I should be looking where I'm going.

Here are some examples of my jewelry-

And this one-

Those are just some of the examples that you will find when you visit this page.
